Cookies and similar technology
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. This website uses cookies to support secure forms and authorised staff access.
Application cookies
- csrftoken: helps protect forms against cross-site request forgery. The application is configured with a lifetime of approximately 364 days.
- sessionid: maintains an authenticated session, such as a staff login. The configured session lifetime is 14 days.
Actual persistence can be shorter if you log out, clear browser data or your browser restricts storage. Cookie expiry may be refreshed through use. Blocking these cookies can prevent forms or staff login from working.
Third-party requests
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google's font servers to retrieve those resources, which exposes technical request information such as your IP address and browser information to that provider. This is separate from the application's login and security cookies.
Following a link to an external website takes you to a service with its own cookie and privacy practices. This policy describes the technologies identified in the current application; it is not a guarantee about technologies used by external sites.
Your controls
You can use your browser settings to inspect, block or delete cookies. Deleting a session cookie may sign you out. For information about how the program handles personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
Questions
For questions, privacy requests, corrections or concerns, contact Pro Bono Inmate Appeal Program using the email, telephone or mailing details on our Contact page. Please identify your request as a privacy request where relevant. Do not include unnecessary case details in your initial message.
